Illinois Educator and Superintendent Andrew Jordan Launches New Personal Website
Andrew Jordan, award-winning superintendent and longtime leader in Illinois public education, has officially launched his brand-new personal website: https://www.andrewjordaneducator.com/. This new online platform offers a deeper look into his work, values, and journey in education, serving as both a professional portfolio and a resource for those interested in leadership, school administration, and community engagement.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Jordan has worked at every level of school leadership—from assistant principal to principal to his current role as superintendent of Donovan CUSD #3. His new website brings together his background, achievements, and contributions in a format that’s accessible to colleagues, students, parents, and education professionals alike.
“This website is a way to tell my story in my own words,” Jordan says. “But more importantly, it’s a place to share what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and why public education matters.”
Visitors to the website can explore Andrew’s biography, read about major milestones such as receiving the Illinois Principals Association Principal of the Year award, and learn about the statewide grants he’s helped secure—like the $210,693 Stronger Connections Grant through ISBE and the multi-year High-Impact Tutoring Grant through Illinois State University.
The site also features Andrew’s involvement in broader initiatives, including his leadership with the Illinois Masonic Student Assistance Program (IMSAP) and participation in State Representative Jason Bunting’s educational committee. A dedicated section showcases his community service, including the Stockton 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, which raised over $50,000 for local causes.
“I wanted the site to reflect not just the roles I’ve had,” Jordan explains, “but the people, communities, and values that shaped those roles.”
Clean, simple, and easy to navigate, the site is designed for educators, media, and community members alike. It will also host news updates, media appearances, and selected interviews, offering a transparent view into his continued work in school leadership and student success.
